There are four basic models; a special version can be produced upon request.<\/p>\n<p>Where using plastic covered wire ropes it is advisable to remove the cover within the splice area in order to obtain maximum efficiency. On all splices ensure \u2018dead end\u2019 of rope protrudes up to half of one rope diameter after pressing. For Galvanised ropes use Aluminium Ferrules, use Copper or Stainless Steel Ferrules on stainless steel ropes.<\/p>\n<p>For wire rope limits, refer to the relevant Ferrule instruction chart. Ferrules A2.5\/Z3 and above require two or more \u2018bites\u2019 to derive optimum efficiency.
